Bio
Hi, my name is Wendy Lojo and I am a third grade teacher at Beulah Elementary. First, let me begin by introducing myself. I grew up in Hiram, Georgia and currently reside in Douglasville. I’ve been married to my wonderful husband, David, for about almost five years now. We got married on September 29th of 2012.   In addition, my husband and I have three boys, a 2-year old and nine month old twins. You could say we are very blessed with happy and healthy boys. They keep us busy! We are very excited for the new and upcoming adventures that our life will bring us. I love the little perks in life like spending time with my family and friends, laughing, having a good time, going new places, traveling, and discovering the many other things that life has to offer.

Also, I am a graduate from the University of West Georgia earning a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education in 2005. I graduated with my master’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Jacksonville State University in 2009. In addition, I obtained my specialist’s degree last summer from Lincoln Memorial University in Curriculum and Instruction.

I chose to teach at Beulah Elementary because the school has a very friendly and welcoming environment.  In addition,I enjoy teaching at Beulah because it is close to home and because of the amazing people and students that I get to work with everyday. This is my 13th year at Beulah Elementary. I have taught both second and third grade at Beulah. I am excited about another exciting year here. I continue to enjoy learning new and exciting ways to help my students succeed in the classroom. I’ve been very blessed to work in such a wonderful school!

As a teacher at Beulah Elementary, I strive to help every child feel comfortable with learning and to reach his or her potential in a successful, meaningful way. Every year in my classroom, I encourage children to always do their best. I make it my goal to praise their accomplishments and listen to them on a regular basis. I also encourage parents to stay involved in their child’s education by keeping them up-to-date on what is happening in the classroom. I try to challenge students to always do their best without being too demanding. But most important of all, I try not to forget to care for my students and think about their best interests on every day. I hope to have many more great experiences in the field of education for many years to come. I also look forward to having a great year at Beulah Elementary!
