Subjects Taught
Immersion Program, Kindergarten

I attended and completed my BA of Science in Early Childhood K-5 and SPED Endorsement at Mercer University in May of 2015.  I received my ESOL Endorsement in May 2017 and I am currently pursuing my Masters Degree in Curriculum Instruction through CMU with a graduation date of May 2018.

I have been working in the school system since 2000 and have worn many hats.  I was a substitute teacher for 8 years.  From there, I worked at Lithia Springs High School as supportive instruction in the Special Education Department.  It was after this job experience that I continued in the Special Education field as the Assistive Technology clerk in the county.  I am currently in my third year of teaching Kindergarten English Immersion here at Beulah Elementary.

Hello from Kindergarten!

My name is Mrs. Therese Gough.  I grew up in northern Illinois and I am one of seven children.  Family is a huge influence in my life.  My parents currently live in Wisconsin and we visit when we can to enjoy all the outdoor activities that the winter snow provides.

I am married and have two beautiful girls ages 22 and 26. I also have two puppy dogs that are always the topic within the classroom.

I started my educational career later in life.  I had always envisioned myself as a teacher and love working with students of all ages.   I LOVE my job and feel very lucky to work at such an outstanding school and with such a great team.   It is so very rewarding working with your children and nurturing their creativity.  I appreciate all of my student's parents and thank you for the extreme privilege to teach your children.
