2nd Grade, Immersion Program

I attended the University of West Georgia, where I graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education and a minor in Spanish.

I am currently studying at Georgia State University for a Master's in Early Childhood Education with a concentration in bilingual literacy.  I am also completing my ESOL endorsement.

I have experience teaching Spanish Dual Immersion in kindergarten and second grade.

¡Hola! Me llamo Sarah Brownlow.

I was born in Texas but raised in Lawrenceville, Georgia. In 2014, I married my high school sweetheart, Nick. Nick is also a teacher! We both love what we do and it is nice to have a fellow teacher so close in the family!

I have taught dual immersion as both the English and Spanish teacher in kindergarten here at Beulah. This is my third year teaching only the Spanish side for 2nd grade.

I love to be adventurous and travel! I have been to Ecuador, Mexico, Costa Rica, Ireland, and many countries in Europe. I am passionate about culture and languages and love learning new things! The Spanish language and culture has a special place in my heart. It is a true joy to be able to be share this with my students!

I recently became a fur-mom and have a Golden Retriever puppy named Oakley! He is such a sweetie and playful little guy! I plan to train him to be a therapy dog. I enjoy camping and being outdoors. Working out is an important part of my life. I love finding new yummy recipes to cook.  :)

Beulah Elementary truly is a special school and I am blessed to be able to be a part of it!
