Beulah Elementary School
Dual-Language Theme School
The Beulah Elementary School administration, teachers, parents, and students presented our Dual Language Theme School proposal to the Douglas County Board of Education on February 27, 2012. It was a great event and the support of the Beulah stakeholders was overwhelming.
As a Dual Language Theme School, parents and students are given the opportunity to choose a monolingual instructional format, or a dual language (Spanish and English) instructional format. The dual language setting allows students to acquire a second language, as they master the content standards of each grade level.
Dr. Pritz and the Office of Student Achievement and Leadership have given Beulah Elementary permission to move forward with our proposal. The members of the Board of Education were also very supportive of our local school improvement initiative. The Beulah faculty and staff look forward to implementing our plans for the future.
